May the 4th 2021 Exchange Letter

Dear Yoda,

Thank you for for offering one or more of the ships I requested! That on it's own is a delight but the fact that you are also going to write something for one of those ships is very exciting. So again, thank you!

I am also NotebookishType on AO3. There are some ships I've requested that are like comfy worn in sweaters that I want to wear 24/7. This does not mean, however, that I'm not interested in trying on other new and interesting ships! In the same vein, I enjoy smut, but smut is not required for an enjoyable ship fic. Please write something you are comfortable writing.

And of course, my prompts/ideas on ships are suggestions, if you've got an idea that works with my DNWs feel free to run with it!

Ships

Fennec Shand/Luke Skywalker
Surely Luke has had a price on his head. How would Fennec approach a target like Luke? Could she incapacitate someone of his skill level? Maybe they are forced to work together? Or they run into each other by coincidence but Fennec recognizes him? I really like the idea of these two grudgingly appreciating each other’s abilities. There’s options for when this could take place within canon, but a divergent AU would work too.

Lando Calrissian/Fennec Shand
Lando could be Fennec’s target or just run into her by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Either way, there would likely be flirting on Lando’s part. How would that go over? Is Fennec flattered, or all business? Is there an in-between?

Lando Calrissian/Greef Karga
Surely these two have met before. Was it because Lando needed the service of a bounty hunter? Or possibly in a cantina or casino? Do Greef’s snazzy yet practical outfits catch Lando’s attention? Maybe they’ve known each other by reputation but have never met in person? A ship fic is absolutely not required, but I think it does open up some fun options.

Lando Calrissian/Guri
What if Guri escapes with the heroes when Xizor’s palace is destroyed? Maybe Lando knows someone who can help put her programming in her own hands? Maybe she’s free of her constraints once Xizor is dead, and chooses to join the Rebellion? Maybe she’s free of her constraints once Xizor is dead and has nowhere else to go? Does she go on missions with Lando? Do they get along? Maybe Guri escapes on her own and they run into each other later on?

Lando Calrissian/Hera Syndulla
What happens when these two run into each other once Lando joins the Rebellion? Is Hera happy to see him? Annoyed? Do they have to work together? Is Lando an overconfident flirt or more uncertain? Can be pre-ship, unrequited, or even just mild flirting. I’m really just intrigued by these two meeting again after Lando has matured some. Feel free to include or exclude Jacen.

Lando Calrissian/Leia Organa/Han Solo
Maybe Leia finds out that Han and Lando were a thing in the past? Booze and/or games of chance could fit into that (or not). Maybe it’s something Han and Lando had talked about in the past but never pursued, and Leia is invested in making it happen? Maybe they come together post-Return of the Jedi, Leia and Lando having grown close while Han was frozen. I think there are a lot of good options that could be explored between these three. During or close to the Original Trilogy, Legends continuity, Sequel Trilogy fix-its/AUs are welcome.

Lando Calrissian/Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker
This could build off of past Lando/Mara or past Lando/Luke...Or both? Maybe they’ve both had relationships with Lando in the past and hadn’t discussed it? Which could lead to inviting Lando into their relationship. Are Mara and Lando bad influences on Luke or is he a good influence on them? Again, if you’d like to incorporate this into Canon somehow, I’d prefer pre-Sequel Trilogy or a Fix-It/AU.

Leia Organa/Fennec Shand
Someone as high profile as Leia has to have had a price on her head, or a hit out on her at some point or another. Maybe Fennec took on one of these contracts, and things got interesting? Did these two come to blows? Maybe Leia is just a means to an end for Fennec, and not the actual goal? Conversely, maybe Fennec needs to protect Leia as part of a job, and is impressed that Leia can take care of herself? AU’s where they’re on the same side of the war?

Leia Organa/Luke Skywalker
I have a soft spot for Post-RotJ (minutes, days, weeks, years?!) Luke trying to process his feelings for Leia. Does she know or acknowledge how he feels? How does she feel? If feelings are mutual can they resist each other even after learning the truth? If yes, how? Denial? Compartmentalizing? Confiding in a third party? Did they have a sexual relationship before finding out the truth? Mention of Han/Leia in any capacity is fine (infidelity, past, open relationship, pre-poly). Unrequited feelings and Pining are great, but I’d prefer the uninterested twin be compassionate to the other if/when turning the other down. During or close to the Original Trilogy, Legends continuity, Sequel Trilogy fix-its/AUs are welcome.

Leia Organa/Luke Skywalker/Han Solo
Anything is good, but Domestic fluff is a soft spot with these three. Mid or Post mission shenanigans are also fun. How would these three get together? Would it be awkward or easy? Does it require alcohol? Sex Pollen or some other altered state? Do people close to them know? Does the Alliance/New Republic know? Are they trying to keep it a secret? Established Han/Leia is absolutely okay. During or close to the Original Trilogy, Legends continuity, Sequel Trilogy fix-its/AUs are welcome.

Leia Organa/Xizor
Dubcon is to be expected given the nature of Xizor’s pheromones, but is there any way Leia would agree to be with him? Did Leia fail to escape Xizor's Palace? Did she make a deal with him to protect Luke? Or a deal to help the Rebellion? What does Xizor have that Leia needs? Is there some way she can take him down? Does Xizor see Leia as anything more than a conquest? Vader killed both of their families, is there room for a grudging alliance between Leia and Xizor? Canon divergence is absolutely fine. Mention of Han/Leia works, as it’s featured prominently in Leia’s interactions with Xizor in Shadows of the Empire. Mature or Explicit sexual content is not required, but also not frowned upon.
