Star Wars Rare Pairs 2020 Letter

Dear Exchange Creator,

I'm very excited to see what you come up with for me! So much so that I'm actually taking a stab at writing an exchange letter this time around.

My requests this year fall relatively neatly into three categories: Fennec Shand ships, Lando ships, and Shadows of the Empire Ships.

I have some very loose prompts for each pairing. None of these are mandatory, but hopefully give some insight into why I found the ship interesting enough to request. Also feel free to treat my likes the same way, as suggestions. If you have a thought that doesn't go against my DNWs that you think would work best, please explore that.

Any fic rating is fine. G/T rated fluff or pre-relationship flirtations can be just as fun as E rated smut, so please write within your comfort zone.

Fennec Shand

Leia Organa/Fennec Shand
Someone as high profile as Leia has to have had a price on her head, or a hit out on her at some point or another. Maybe Fennec took on one of these contracts, and things got interesting? Did these two come to blows? Maybe Leia is just a means to an end for Fennec, and not the actual goal? Things could go the other way too, maybe Fennec needs to protect Leia as part of a job, and is a little impressed to learn that Leia can take care of herself.

Lando Calrissian/Fennec Shand
Lando could be Fennec’s target or just run into her by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Either way, there would likely be flirting on Lando’s part. How would that go over? Is Fennec flattered, or all business? Is there an in-between?

Boba Fett/Fennec Shand
Perhaps these two have run into each other on a job? Worked together? Against each other? Are they friendly or professional? Maybe they’ve never met prior, but both have reputations that precede them? Are those reputations accurate?

Din Djarin/Fennec Shand
What would have happened if Fennec had convinced Calican to free her? Might she try to take out The Mandalorian in hopes of getting the Bounty Hunter’s Guild off her back? They’re both wanted by the Guild, and it would be fun to see the different ways they might handle that.

Lando Calrissian

Lando Calrissian/Hera Syndulla
What happens when these two run into each other once Lando joins the Rebellion? Is Hera happy to see him? Annoyed? Do they have to work together? Is Lando an overconfident flirt or more respectful? Can be pre-ship, unrequited, or even just mild flirting. I’m really just intrigued by these two meeting again after Lando has matured some. Feel free to include Jacen.

Lando Calrissian/Mara Jade
I’d really just like to see them being flirty scoundrels together. Maybe they’re doing an undercover job that requires a fake relationship, and that fake relationship gets real? Or maybe it doesn’t? Don’t feel restricted to Legends with this. If you venture into Canon try to keep things pre-Sequel Trilogy, please.

Lando Calrissian/Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker
This could build off of past Lando/Mara or past Lando/Luke...Or both? Maybe they’ve both had relationships with Lando in the past and hadn’t discussed it? Which could lead to inviting Lando into their relationship. Are Mara and Lando bad influences on Luke or is he a good influence on them? Again, if you’d like to incorporate this into Canon somehow, please try to keep it pre-Sequel Trilogy.

Lando Calrissian/Leia Organa/Han Solo
Maybe Leia finds out that Han and Lando were a thing in the past? Booze and/or games of chance could fit into that (or not). Maybe it’s something Han and Lando talked about, but never pursued, and Leia is invested in making it happen? Maybe they come together post-Return of the Jedi, Leia and Lando having grown close while Han was frozen. I think there are a lot of good options that could be explored between these three.

Lando Calrissian/Luke Skywalker
Any sort of bonding during or shortly after the Original Trilogy would work well. Angsty bonding after ESB, or a victory get together post RotJ. I don’t want anything set during the Sequel Trilogy, but feel free to imagine what that mission that was mentioned was like. Was it the only one? How much time did they spend together before Luke’s exile? I’m very curious. Also, Legends Continuity is 100% on the table if you have an idea that fits in there.

Shadows of the Empire

Leia Organa/Xizor
Dubcon is to be expected given the nature of Xizor’s pheromones, but is there any way Leia would agree to be with him? Did Leia fail to escape Xizor's Palace? Did she make a deal with him to protect Luke? Or a deal to help the Rebellion? What does Xizor have that Leia needs? Is there some way she can take him down? Does Xizor see Leia as anything more than a conquest? Vader killed both of their families, is there room for a grudging alliance between Leia and Xizor? Canon divergence is absolutely fine. Mention of Han/Leia works, as it’s featured prominently in Leia’s interactions with Xizor in Shadows of the Empire. Mature or Explicit sexual content is not required, but also not frowned upon. Xizor’s death is fine, but I would prefer that not happen during smut.

Guri/Leia Organa
What if Leia and Guri teamed up to escape? What if they teamed up to take down Xizor? If Guri is truly sentient she’s a prisoner to her programing, isn’t she? Is Leia equipped to help her? Are the Rebels? What does Guri want? Canon divergence is absolutely fine. Mention of Han/Leia is fine. Mention or inclusion Leia/Xizor or Guri/Xizor is fine. Xizor’s death is fine, but I would prefer that not happen during smut.

Lando Calrissian/Guri
What if Guri escapes with the heroes when Xizor’s palace is destroyed? Maybe Lando knows someone who can help put her programming in her own hands? Maybe she’s free of her constraints once Xizor is dead, and chooses to join the Rebellion? Maybe she’s free of her constraints once Xizor is dead and has nowhere else to go? Does she go on missions with Lando? Do they get along? Maybe Guri escapes on her own and they run into each other later?

Savan/Luke Skywalker
This is entirely a crack ship. And slightly cheating, as Savan (Xizor’s niece) is only featured in Shadows of the Empire Evolution. How would post-RotJ Luke handle a Falleen seduction attempt
